Class Descriptions
Preschool Classes
Our preschool curriculum is designed for childern 1½ to 5 years old with different classes for every age group. There are no prerequisite skills for any of the preschool classes, class placement is based on your child's age.
The MEGA Tots, Tikes I and Tikes II classes are designed to improve dexterity, balance and agility using age appropriate activities and gymnastics skills on preschool sized equipment and mats.
Our Tots, Tike I and Tikes II curriculum is unique for each session during the year which not only taps into our childs imagination with themed lesson plans but also stresses different fundamental gymnastics basics throughout the year.
For your kindergarten age child, we have MEGA Kid Girls and Kid Boys which starts your gymnast using the full size equipment and teaches the gymnastics skills appropriate for their age group.
For all classes, children should wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt with no shoes/socks; girls may wear leotards.
MEGA Tots – 1½ to 2 years w/parent
This class is a wonderful bonding experience for you and your child! Parents help their toddlers along as they roll, jump and learn exercises that improve their coordination through basic gymnastic attivities. This class is a great way to introduce physical fitness in an entertaining setting.
MEGA Tikes I – 3 years
Is your little one ready to attend class on their own just like the "big kids"? This class is the perfect solution for children who are always on the move. Your little tike will enjoy using our preschool sized balance beam, bars, rings and tumbling mats that are just the right size for young children. They will have fun exercising while improving their physical fitness and coordination.
MEGA Tikes II – 4 years
This class is the next step for the older Tike who is a "big kid" now. Tikes II classes continue teaching tumbling as well as basics to the bars, rings and beam on the preschool equipment while introducing skills that are suitable challenges for children 4 years old. Give your little boy or girl an excellent opportunity to develop coordination as well as beginning gymnastics skills in a fun, safe environment.
MEGA Kids Boys & Girls – 5 to 6 years![]()
Does your child want to learn tumbling such as forward & backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels? Kindergarten aged gymnasts start using the full size equipment in this great introduction to gymnastics. MEGA Kid Girls classes learn Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. MEGA Kid Boys classes learn Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, P-Bars and Hi-Bars.
Gymnastics Classes – 6 years & up
Our Girls & Boys Gymnastics Classes are designed to provide children with an excellent opportunity to develop Basic through Advance gymnastics. Girls are taught skills on floor, beam, bars and vault. Boys are taught skills on floor, pommel horse, vault, rings, parallel bars and high bar. For class, boys should wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt with no shoes/socks; girls wear leotards.
The Basic & Introduction classes are designed for anyone new to gymnastics. Children then progress to the following classes at their own pace. Every session coaches evaluate when a gymnast is ready to move to the next class and notify the parents. Our staff and coaches will help parents decide which of the following classes new students should enroll:

Does your son or daughter want to learn tumbling such as forward & backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels? This class will introduce your child to basic tumbling skills utilizing our spring floor and trampoline.
Flip Flop Class and Power Tumbling– 6 years & up
Can your child do a back handspring? Our Flip Flop class teaches boys and girls who want to learn a standing back handspring. This is the perfect class to develop advanced gymnastics tumbling skills.
Can you do a round-off back handspring? Our Power Tumbling class teaches the next step for those who are ready for advanced tumbling. Students will work on tumbling connections such as round-off, back handspring, back tuck and front handspring, punch front. Students must be able to perform a connected round-off, back handspring before enrolling in this class.
